DAVIE - Dolphins quarterback Trent Green was in Kansas City on
Wednesday being examined by the same specialists that treated him for
last year's concussion, and coach Cam Cameron said the 14-year NFL
veteran is optimistic he'll play again this season.

Green lay unconscious on the field honda insurance less than five minutes early in
the 22-19 loss to Houston Sunday after his head collided with the knee

Cameron talked to Green before addressing the media Wednesday
afternoon and said Green's "very encouraged" about his status.

"He's dealing with the people he dealt with last year so he can make
direct comparison," Cameron playing cards promotional "He's really upbeat if imprinted playing cards can
imagine. That's what makes those guys who they are and what they are.
They are competitors and think a little differently than the rest of
us. They can't imagine not playing, and they want to be back out there
playing as soon as possible.

Cleo Lemon, a fourth-year veteran who filled in for Green against the
Texans, will get the start on Sunday at Cleveland. Lemon took what
Cameron estimates as 85 to 90 percent of the snaps with the first-team
offense on Wednesday.

Rookie quarterback John Beck is more involved with the base offense,
but is still running emo fashion scout team, preparing the defense by running
Cleveland's plays.

Cameron said the organization has discussed bringing in another
quarterback, possibly signing someone to printed playing cards practice squad to run the

Injury update

* Center Samson Satele was held out of practice because of a neck
strain he suffered against Houston. Rex Hadnot worked as the
starting center with Anthony Alabi taking snaps in his place as

* Also limited by a neck injury during Wednesday's practice is
defensive end Jason Taylor.

* Weakside linebacker Channing Crowder (sprained left ankle)
practiced with slight limitations and said he's questionable for
Sunday's game.

* Safety Donovin Darius (calf) practiced and Cameron said he
expects Darius to start against Cleveland.

* Receiver Derek Hagan was held out emo style practice because of a
hamstring strain. Rookie Ted Ginn Jr. will remain in his role as
the Dolphins third receiver.
